How I Met Your Mother (T1-T4)
October 07
Considered by many as the best successor of the legendary Friends, "How I Met Your Mother", hereinafter "CVCC" is a "Sitcom" based on the experiences of a youth group in New York, which are as near, and beyond (for about the third season), the mythical, and sometimes frightening, borderline between 20 and 30.
You see, the parallels are evident Friends. The production style is also very similar, with comedy recorded on a set decorated with artificial public limited artificial scenery, and little, or no real external presence. That is, the only real thing that comes out of New York are typical transitional images showing representative somewhere in the city.
Still, as they say, all comparisons are odious, but sometimes unavoidable, and is a bit unfair to compare a series that many of us have mythologized and idealized probably, so I'll try to avoid, as far as possible: it is like, it's not like it is better, worse, the comparison holds, do not hold ...
No, CVCC is a series that has earned the right to be treated and considered by itself and probably by the natural evolution of the format, provides new data about sitcoms of previous decades, according to the "Wiki is the only current sitcom that multi-format recording, which gives it a freshness of planes in the same sequence.
The script highlights the existence of subplots, which cause "flashbacks" and "flashforwards" in history. Thus, an apparently of no consequence in an episode can become the key to a future episode, and something that is happening at a time section, saying it is part of the future and already counted.
This resource gives a dynamic to the series and is an added complication to some scripts that do not have to open and close in the same chapter, extending some situations even from one season to another. Also, allows creating storylines that arouse public attention, and are followed with great interest, such as "Slapsgiving" enre Seasons 2 and 3.
The existence of sub-plots, is very necessary for the course of history, that is:
2030, a parent, who will narrate the series (Bob Saget of "Full House" in the original), and never appear in front of the camera, he tells his two teenage children the story of how he met his mother.
This narrator, who speaks in the past, is a character and carries the weight of history in their changes and transitions. According to the creators of the series is a storyteller "little credible" because they always seem to tell the story will end, and again, and again in his tracks, causing the shock of their children. Throughout the seasons has presented several girls like to be the mother of his children, but in the end is always no. This is especially evident in the close of each season.
This character is Ted, an architect fall in love, hopeless romantic, with a tendency to express certain feelings too quickly, and is obsessed because he sees coming thirty and have not found the woman of his life.
Ted lives with his best friend and roommate in college, Marshall. Marshall has since the beginning of college with Lily, in a relationship that Ted, admire and envy, since this type of complicity and empathy is what has always wanted in a woman.
Barnie goes with them, the very opposite pole Ted: true "dandy" nocturnal predator unfeeling womanizer, playboy, allergic to marriage, and total absence of romance in your life. Barnie Day Ted knows and since then will struggle to be recognized as his best friend, although it is clear that this will always be Marshall, (you sound familiar with Chandler, Ross and Joei). Ted Barnie will attempt to "track", ie one in which will be more concerned by ligating in quantity, and less because every woman you know is final. Sometimes use it as "Wing Man", hook, to link the two together, and others will launch straight into the abyss, approaching an unknown girl asking, "You know Ted" to go away.
Complete the table of characters Robin, an attractive journalist Ted knows one day, and who falls madly. Robin will be one of a group and its peculiar relationship with Ted, Ross, Rachel? is a plot of the pillars of the series.
The characters are well made and balance each other.
In my opinion, and despite not being the main character, Barnie stands out from others. His are some of the phrases more characteristic of the series as the "Suit up", wear clothes, or "Legendary". It is also known for inventing rules regarding relationships, which always favor, or be continually promoting and betting challenges, some totally crazy, with others.
Barnie, to a lesser extent with Robin, are eternal adolescents who voluntarily refuse to grow old, and want to last forever in the fun without the responsibilities of 20. The rest, Marshall and Lily, who raised his long relationship other steps in his life, and Ted, on conviction, assume more maturity.
Of the five players only Barnie (Neil Patrick Harris) and Lily (Allison Hannigan) are actually known to audiences for her roles in "Doogie Howser, MD" and the series "American Pie" respectively, while recognizing that all five are very While each in their role.
I must say that, as to the dubbing, this time not lose too much from the original, even the title is true to the original "How I met your mother", while in the dub misses the grace of many expressions, certainly hard to translate.
The series is at present four full seasons and in my opinion the first two are very good, the best I've seen in a long time in terms of comedy, and surprises round it, and how well fitted they are. The third, I think it loses a little from the previous and the fourth is accused certain weariness, though towards the end manages to soar with some very good episodes, with surprising twists on some characters.
In summary, a highly recommendable comedy.

Another New Testament? XD
What a great series you discovered ...
That memory is bad, sometimes.
If I remember correctly, one day I saw the series, by chance, in the Sixth. I told you and told you that shopped for download. After six months you get it, probably not you remembered that you had asked, and that's when we started to enjoy it.
Other paternities are not mine, but this would say yes.
On "Wills", I prefer a long post that three times. At the end of the day if it is interesting to read, have 200 or 1000 words ...
XD
Everything dynamic and very Positively!
Thanks! It helps us to continue on This Way!
Awesome! A classic!
