The Hard Facts: is that it is no great movie

October 26

The stark reality is one of the last romantic comedy that has come to the billboard.

In this film, Abby, played couple Katherine Heigl, the Grey's Anatomy Izzy, is a producer of a television program, not through their best moment and one day comes a new presenter, Michael, played by Gerard Butler ( 300), very politically incorrect, primarily in their views on relationships.

Abby, who is a professional dominants, control freak, a bit twee, strongly disagrees with the views, but to turn her love life is a mess, because he is obsessed with finding her ideal guy, to be adapted to previously completed its list of requirements.

One day a guy called Colin who becomes enamored of, as appears to meet all the requirements (young, handsome, caring, good position), but their first meeting is somewhat awkward.

From there, Michael, which is basically the polar opposite of Abby, and follows the principle that the guys are basically simple and easy to please, with advice bet Abby will be able to drop the boy surrendered his feet, always behave, even giving up his personality, the way he tells you.

From there, knowing that it is a romantic comedy can imagine that is what you end up going without fail, with at least a 90% chance of success.

So as more of a movie genre, and probably forget as we see next, we will focus on what is profitable or different from the others:

The Curious Pygmalion effect, or rather antipigmalión, basically because Abby has to be more frivolous and superficial, which is subjected, is entertaining as well as the talks apparently hate each other. Of these there is a phrase that I find very profitable, "You'll never know"

The restaurant scene is recognized that has a certain grace.

The atmosphere is also different in Sacramento, a city quite unusual in the movies, at least that really is original.

Otherwise, I think little time has passed since the last film of a similar "What is wrong with men", with which it shares to a character in the same role, Kevin Connolly, with the difference that in the latter by At least there were several stories to choose from, and therefore the end became less predictable (see post published in this blog about it)

Will the next wave of Hollywood to exploit the "boys against girls" or "Men are from Venus, Mars and women"? (Note: it is turned upside down on purpose).

So to see her at home one Sunday afternoon (thanks Megaupload) is not bad, but for a movie I think there are better options in theaters, and on this blog commented: "Whatever Works," "Agora" and unless major surprise, because I have not yet seen "Millenium2".

Score: 5, up to 6, because the main character is very well

To me the movie I found entertaining and funny moments. It's more of it than we offer the comedies "made in USA", but not bad to see Izzie Stevens putting vibrating panties!
