Australia, a great continent for a lousy movie

February 07

It seems certain legend circulating in Hollywood that says that the whole movie that plays Nicole Kidman, a time to this part, ends in fiasco. From perhaps Dogville or Cold Mountain , his films have all been failures. Furthermore, since a couple of weeks I have Digital + HD and the truth, movies and football is another world now we talk about the film and HD.

Last night, I started to see Australia knowing they were nearly three hours of drama. From the beginning reminded me of two wonderful movies: " Out of Africa "and" I Dreamed of Africa ", two different dramas draft but with the same background. A city woman moves to a tough new continent (Africa and in the present case, Australia), which will test the inner strength of those women who in some cases will fall in love of man and rude mystical place and suffer a thousand calamities.

Baz Luhrmann is the film's director, director of films as varied and diverse as Moulin Rouge (which came) or Romeo + Juliet, where DiCaprio tore hearts of young girls. Apart from this, is a character who loves to get into movies, so we can see a thousand films .

Wanting to make a huge Australian Peplum with great scenery, a mixture of genres and two renowned actors, stays in a small mediocre film that sparing neither the special effects are pitiful.

As mentioned, in the film, we are introduced to Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman) who comes to Australia to reunite with her beloved but will have to bear alone the ranch property (sound familiar?). Also, must battle a thousand and one problems, rustlers, disease, war (because wars also occur, as not) ... what will make this city woman becomes a tough country woman with a pair of ovaries (although could not give her children to Tom Cruise ;) ) -

Basically this is the story of Australia, a blockbuster as a tribute to Baz's homeland, which is in a film of three a room with a lot of mixed genres, plots and subplots, special effects and some unfortunate interpretations painful which only highlights the small Indian Nullah (Brandon Walters).

There is more to see the movie poster ... about Australia? Nooooooo, it sells only two top players with a mediocre performances, wars, destruction and a vague attempt at epic.
