Band of Brothers: A delight for lovers of war films

This post was a promise to the two people that is dedicated: Dani, for letting the series and Martel, which I hope does not disappoint too, because I play his knowledge of World War II against anyone.

Leaving the personal note, Band of Brothers was one of the series had still to see in a while, and I regret having taken, as I found very, very good, although with the previous ingredients was hard to miss:

In fact, the only easily recognizable is David Schwimmer-Ross from Friends, which has a relatively minor role, and also one of the most odious of the series.

Over ten episodes we see the soldiers, mostly civilians before the war, are prepared as elite forces, in a tough workout that will become one of the most professional units of the Army. This training will last over a year, until they are transferred to England, where they will be quartered until D-Day

They leap like advance, to try to support the amphibious invasion, basically attacking German positions on defense. This mission will lose almost half of its members, all survivors were hardened in missions such as the release of Carentan.
