View your problems reflected on the screen, to reflect on the situation itself is something that cinema has always given me. So when you read about Inma Turbau book, I decided to buy it and read it.

The synopsis you the copy and paste to give you an idea:

When David committed suicide, and he took Sandra and years without seeing. But both knew they were bound by a dark secret, something that happened one summer afternoon when the two were a couple of teenagers re-rebels and lovers. Something tragic and hopeless that would mark their lives forever.
With a direct and engaging prose, and some players with a strength and unforgettable character, The Hangman us closer to a stormy start I am in Spain in the eighties. Does it look interesting, no? It really is, the film, much less. Not a bestseller but it has its interesting points. Tormented psychology of the protagonist invites reflection and to some extent, empathize with her.

The film, quite boring. Led by a renowned Manuel Gomez Pereira , director of films like Queens, or Between the Legs Why They Call It Love When They Mean Sex?, does not have the depth of the book and although it is fairly faithful to the novel, the voice-overs that tells the story in the book, does not appear as such in the film, at least not have that dramatic intensity. It is a pass with little conviction on facts and dramatic weight. You better you read the book it's like for young children and the film ... if you want you take a look at which we leave here.
