TV Series -01, Grand Finals and fiascos like melons
July 22
After finishing to see Happy Town and take some time mulling this post (so long and heavy it is), I decided to do a review of the series I've seen, I've finished and that for reasons beyond my cinephilia (I've been so bored as a kind of Theory of Communication Mr. Tiller) I stopped watching.
We will do this in alphabetical order, so I certainly will not leave any. In addition, I will continue the listing of one of the great Spanish pages flying by the Network: Tusseries.com, of which I have been a follower and contributor for nearly 6 years, but that failing to properly operate the emule, I had to leave quite a bit-side (have a section of DD but remain strong elinks).
A Six Feet Under

Los Angeles. Christmas Eve. Nathaniel Fisher, owner of Fisher & Sons Funeral Home, died when a bus collides with his new hearse.
The tragedy overshadowed the reception of his son Nate, who must deal with the death of his father, his controlling mother, Ruth (Conroy), who has an affair with another man, his brother David (Hall), a repressed gay runs the business, and his sister Claire (Ambrose), a rebellious teen to the news of the death of his father after being caught taking drugs with her new boyfriend, Gabe (Balfour). The only positive element of life apparently Nate is Brenda (Griffiths), a passionate woman he meets on the plane just before learning of the death of his father.
At home, the young Fedrico, undertaker, hide the marks that the accident has left the body of Nathaniel. However, the funeral ago to surface the deepest emotions of the family ... and question some of our absurd funeral rites. Already in the cemetery, Matthew, of the rival Kroehner Service Corporation, chooses the wrong time to talk to David about the possibility of buying the business of Fisher.
Perhaps you've been buried Nathaniel Fisher to find eternal rest ... but still has much to reveal to his family.
A big disappointment from my point of view. A very interesting and curious story, but the hysteria and oddities of the characters, prompted me in season 2 series hartase for more action. It is considered among the cult series to series fans who have endured its 5 seasons. Available on DVD.
The Wonder Years

Set in the late 60's and early 70's, nostalgic tone series described in the passage from childhood to adolescence of Kevin Arnold, youngest son of a typical middle class American family, from the perspective of their own memories as an adult (a through a voiceover narrating the events and thought about it). One of its attractions was its great soundtrack, full of pop classics of the era.
One of the great classics of television and essential, it is great to see family. Series adored by millions of Spanish who, as a teenager Kevin Arnold saw many of his personal problems and concerns. Six seasons and 115 chapters take us from early childhood through to adolescence. Transmitting moral values today are conspicuous by their absence. You can not get in Spain unless it is thanks to the download pages that are making a brutal role in restoring the audio and video comes from VHS.
ALIAS
My name is Sydney Bristow. Seven years ago I was recruited to work in a secret branch of the CIA called SD-6. I swore not to reveal it, but I could not hide it from my fiance and when the head of SD-6 was discovered he was killed.
That's when I knew the truth. The SD-6 is not part of the CIA. He had been working for the people against whom he believed to be fighting.
So I went to the only place where they could help destroy them. Now I'm a double agent for the CIA, where is my contact Officer Michael Vaughn. The only other person who knows the truth about my activities. Another double agent infiltrated SD-6. One person I hardly know ... my father.
A sexual myth of the early twenty-first century. Jennifer Garner plays Sydney Bristow's agent over 6 seasons. The juice of the series is not based on espionage cases being resolved to Sydney if not, in the subplot complete chapters, one Rambaldi, a sort of Leonardo da Vinci (will not say more to avoid damaging the series with spoilers) , has left some artifacts throughout the world for which they fight several private agencies. THE work of Sydney ... discover what these artifacts, which are also important and what is more mysterious, why it is so important?.
It's a great series and unfortunately from my point of view (as I have not read anything about it) has a rather disappointing series finale and here comes the surprise. Is a set of JJ Abrams (see I had kept it, that bastard I am ...) and as such, also I can tell you why I was not surprised by the ending of Lost. It is the first series we saw Bea and I together and buy the first original (his five seasons), which is why we have a point of nostalgia and although disappointed, it is advisable to see. Available on DVD also appeared as a special edition box was one of the Rambaldi artifacts, spectacular that you see at the beginning of criticism.
Ally McBeal

Ally McBeal is a young lawyer working in a prestigious Boston law firm. There are a victim of sexual harassment by a partner. Ally ends up being fired. No time to consider their future lies in the street with Richard Fish, a former college roommate who just opened an office in the city for the sole purpose of winning big money. Richard offered him a post in his office, much better than the one she just left and Ally agree.
But what at first might seem a stroke of luck for Ally ends up being a setback because the firm also works Billy Richard Thomas, the man she fell in love with Ally when she was seven and that is hopelessly in love. But now Billy is a man who is happily married to the beautiful and friendly Georgia. A Ally would love to hate Georgia but it is so charming that they end up good friends, but both know that Billy formed a triangle of stability difficult. It is from this initial situation that will accompany Ally McBeal on their adventures and misadventures with her quirky, eccentric and funny fellow law firm Fish & Cage.
Interestingly, a number that I remember, I have seen with Rick when we met in high school or even in Valencia ... This series was a paradigm in American comedies (in the TV series, of course). The character played by Calista Flockhart anorexic gradually faded in the series (as Meredith Grey in Grey's Anatomy) giving way to great geniuses of comedy as Greg Germann impersonating Richard Fish and of course the great "cookie" Peter MacNicol impersonating John Cage, his exceptional big word: Poughkeepsie .
In the third season (the show's five seasons), the series lost bellows and gradually lost his hearing, cookie and company stopped as relevant and criminal times caused Spanish chains leave the series in that third season.
BODIES

Considered by The Times as the series set in a hospital more convincing and better interpreted, is a BBC production focused on the intricacies of a hospital.
Its protagonist, Rob Lake (Max Beesley) begins work on the maternity unit, where he soon begins to suspect that his new boss, Roger Hurley gynecologist, is making some mistakes. Rob tries to look away, but the mistakes of Hurley begins to be severe, placing the protagonist in a difficult situation that puts his career.
Do not know if will be considered a cult but for me it is. Two seasons (6 and 10 chapters) and a final film that serves to close the plot of a more or less bright, shows us the real medicine and openly, nothing romantic or impossible cases resolved by a House of turn, crudely realism ... spectacular. It may be a little uncomfortable to digest at first but if given time, there comes a surprise leaving a feeling of having seen a great British series. If you like the series, I recommend reading " The House of God "(I'm sure Rick agrees to 100% at least in this series / book). Available in DD .

Good idea, and you have material for a while.
I had thought of doing a general assessment: comedy first, and drama on the other series this season.
When I finish the T4 and T6 30 Rock Women, which is what I have to keep up, I'll get with it, but will rather focus on the last season.
Regarding the series of this post, this is my opinion:
Six Feet: I hung a post. It's a cult, but the day is slow. That I endured the whole piece. It was worth at the end, of which I have commented it's the best I've ever seen to close a series.
Those Wonderful: Nostalgia at its best. We grew up with him and his problems. The most curious thing: the urban legend circulated that claimed that Marilyn Manson was Paul's friend Kevin.
Alias: I have not seen more than individual chapters. I prefer the Garner, before it got worse and face eternal anguish under the circumstances.
Ally Mc Beal: unsettling. Had its day. Now we can enjoy the Flockart in Brothers & Sisters, which has shown that good enough actress to make us forget a character, so aparetemente hard to forget. In secret we enjoy in 30Rock, which plays an even more histrionic.
Bodies: deserves a longer post. What I have in mind. One of these days. Totally agree with "The House of God." Great book
