Origin, have still left in Hollywood?

Today was a special day ... we went to film a session sudden as that of 23h. Untimely because it was full of gentucilla that does nothing to put bare feet on the front headrests, talk, play with the phone and obviously do not understand good cinema. We have also agreed on the valuation of the film between Rick and me, something that does not happen very often nowadays.

We went to see Origin (Inception in its original title and very similar to Spanish, translates to "Home") and the result to the output of the film was none other than surprise, charm and love for the director. Looking back at the films of Christopher Nolan, I see that I just need to see his first film "Following" and the rest I have been getting each and every one of them a very high note: Memento, insomnia, Batman Begins, The Prestige End, The Dark Knight and now Inception.

As you can see, the idea is original and see / the trailers , even more. And is that one of the merits is that the script itself is Nolan. As I recall, came about eight years ago while driving through one of the endless American road (lots of time to think) and was gradually giving way but as happened with Cameron and Avatar, there was no technology advanced enough to reproduce the layers of dreams, so the project was parked today (thank God, to restore enthusiasm for the film).

Focusing on the film ... better start by telling you what I think: Only the last third, to my taste a bit too long but does not detract from the final score. The rest ... all good words. ELlguión original is solid, the structure is three times and even brought Rick brilliantly timed the duration of the first act and concluded that it was only for a movie (in duration). The actors chosen are plated, since the last great ape to actorazo is Leonardo DiCaprio, left totally abandon the role of teen idol seen in Titanic and The Beach for a real actor thus become a full-blooded chameleon-like few and fortunate to be able to decide his career I believe in hitting all of his papers. It's amazing charisma di Caprio in the film, not hyperreacts, gestures (although very typical of him) did not bother at all ... Also as mentioned, the plot comes together very well (note the explanation of dreams and of them in others, such as time expands penetrate while at another level of sleep and tremendous images of what can be done within them) and as noted, the special effects sequences, you laugh Matrix ...

To give you an idea, I think we could mix, Shutter Island, Matrix, Level 13 and The Cell as the story delves into what he likes to Nolan, the man and complexity. Dreams as a means of escape from a reality that does not like it, the danger of living in a dream and become trapped in never knowing if he is fact or fiction ... what a joy to live after all.

Special mention is music where the great genius Hans Zimmer scores strikes again with entirely new, far from the stereotypes that accused him of idler and uncreative. The tunes accompany the action wherever you go, be a dramatic moment, fast-paced action or fragment melancholy and solitary that haunts the protagonist.

After all this is only to say that the final compound is round and after months of drought Hollywood, it seems that someone wants to put his head behind the bush but I fear it is somewhat isolated and the fever "Taquilleritis" with their remakes (of shit), sagas and comedies boring facile continue flooding our rooms, so, I'll keep watching series ...
